Pinocchio, or rather The Adventures of Pinocchio, is a much-loved children’s book written by Carlo Collodi (pseudonym of the Florentine journalist Carlo Lorenzini) and first published in episodes in the “Giornale dei bambini” between 1881 and 1882, and then as a book in 1883.
